Description

Thank you for joining LTA's CIT program! The purpose of this registration link is to get your child's contact (and emergency contact information). In addition, our waiver form (which we need signed by a parent) explains our CIT policies and liability waiver. How it works:

CIT's work for 2 full weeks or 4 part time weeks (morning session or afternoon session) as a Camp CIT with no pay, however, it will qualify the CIT for their DC Volunteer hours working for our Non-Profit (please submit to me your forms when your CIT has completed their hours).

After the 2 weeks we will then pay $15 - $18.00 per hour. Coach Erin manages your scheduling and hours that you work for us. We have 2-time frames in which you may work: 8am-12:30pm MORNING, 12:30pm to 4:30pm AFTERNOON or 8am-4:30pm FULL DAY.

Camp Counselor Expectations:

To be on time for your shift
Engagement with the campers with positive energy
Keeping the campers safe and with your assigned groups at all times
Listening for positive and clean conversations and being aware if a conversation takes a different direction
Escorting kids to and from restroom and water facilities
Ensuring children do not drift off
